Stearin enhances burning qualities of candles
Stearin increases shrinkage in candle waxes after they solidify. Thus using it with candle making waxes allow the set candles to be pulled out of the mould easily
Stearin also increases the vibrancy of the candle colours.
Stearin increases the melting point of paraffin wax and increases burning time. It also helps candles burn with steady and unwavering flame
Stearin curtails the amount of messy wax drips and helps candles to emit less smoke
Candles with stearin are harder and survive warmer climates, without melting, sagging or losing their shape
